You can tell Peter Carlone and Chris Wilson have great respect and a keen eye for detail as the duo hits every single note in their parody of the Western movie with Peter n’ Chris and the Kinda OK Corral.
A combination of scripted and improvised comedy, Carlone and Wilson are fearless as they tell a story of an evil oil baron not only out to steal Texas Chris’s land, but his beloved cow Winnifred as well.
Taking on a dozen or so characters to tell their hour long story, the two are seemless in their transitions from one to the next. The high-stakes poker game is a testament to their skills as they manage, with an amazing clarity, to play all five people at the table. Masters of physical comedy as well, the bar fight is both instantly recognizable in its film cliches, and side-splittingly funny. And just wait until you meet Winnifred.
There is a reason Peter n’ Chris were named best sketch troupe last year at the Canadian Comedy Awards (and are nominated again this year). It is also why you’ll find line-ups and sold-out shows at the Fringe. The Fringe at its best you’ll not want to miss out. Get your tickets now.
