Festa! is an inter-generational storytelling experience about growing up as children of Portuguese immigrants in East Vancouver.

[dropcap]1[/dropcap]Tell us about your show.

Festa! is the family gathering you always wanted to be invited to! Crazy cousin, old school grandma and emotionally unavailable dad are just some of the members of this Portuguese family that you will get to hang out with at the PCOV!

[dropcap]2[/dropcap]Why should someone come see your show?

You get to be Portuguese for the day. Eat and drink while being entertained by all the members of a typical Portuguese family. Come Festa! with us!

[dropcap]3[/dropcap]If your show was a superhero which superhero would it be, and why?

Wonder Woman, of course! Wonder Woman came from the past to save the future and with this show, the Wonder Women of Portuguese Buns are exploring their Portuguese upbringing while living in the modern world.

[dropcap]4[/dropcap]If you could see only one show at the Vancouver Fringe Festival, besides your own, what show would that be?

There are so many great ones but the one we are totally going to support is Sketch Ya Later by Husky Guy Productions. Our director Maryth Gilroy is performing in it and it’s going to be a lot of fun!

The 2016 Vancouver Fringe Festival runs September 8-18 on Granville Island and stages around town. Visit http://vancouverfringe.com for tickets and information.
