Gruesome Playground Injuries
Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals. In Gruesome Playground Injuries the two childhood friends compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together.

Why should someone come see your show?

Anybody who has been in love, wants to be in love, and has tried to be in love should see this show. It’s rich in humour, empathy, and tenderness. Internal and external pain are a measure of everything vulnerable when it comes to intimacy, timing and love with our two heroes Doug and Kayleen.

If your show was a superhero which superhero would it be, and why?

Daredevil gone wrong. Our hero Doug dares and fails, resulting in his varied injuries.

If you could see only one show at the Vancouver Fringe this year, besides your own, what show would that be?

Gutenberg: The Musical. I saw a production of it years ago in North Van and it was just hilarious, so silly and fun.
