Tell us about Conduit.

Conduit is a contemporary dance triple bill, set to original music and featuring a powerhouse cast of seven dancers.

Gathering inspiration from cinema, psychology, orchestral conductors and even Broadway musicals, Conduit weaves a visceral dreamscape celebrating the body as a vehicle for stories, energies and connections.

Describe your show in three words.

Physical. Abstract. Weird.

Why should someone come see your show?

Folks who are inspired by bodies moving in space to music, and who enjoy feeling all the feels without dialogue and a literal narrative, should come see Conduit.

If your show was a superhero which superhero would it be, and why?

Mystique from X-Men, because she is a shapeshifter, and our dancers inhabit very different worlds in each of the show’s three pieces. Plus, just like our show, she has a dark side.

If you could see only one show at the Vancouver Fringe Festival this year, besides your own, what show would that be?

Sam Kruger’s Fool Muun Komming! He is such an incredible mover. The show is so bizarre and beautiful. We all saw it at the Winnipeg Fringe last year and can’t wait to see it again.
