Before The Curtain Goes Up: The Shine

The Shine continues at the Beaumont Studios in Vancouver until October 27, promising 90 minutes of music, humour, dancing, and quirky scares.

Horror and hilarity intertwine as The Beaumont Studios presents The Shine, in which Stephen King’s iconic characters take centre stage.

This walkthrough is a roller coaster of campy thrills and chills that doesn’t just stop at the stage. – Jude Kusnierz.

Blurring the lines between the macabre and the mesmerizing, The Shine brings an overload of senses as pole dancing, burlesque acts, and theatrical vignettes set the stage for this adventure into the characters created by the “King of Horror.”

“The Shine is perfect for anyone looking to escape the ordinary [and] a must-attend for Stephen King fans, burlesque lovers, and those in search of a thrilling, one-of-a-kind experience.” says Jude Kusnierz, executive & creative director of The Beaumont Studios. “This walkthrough is a roller coaster of campy thrills and chills that doesn’t just stop at the stage. The unique themes of each of the three plus rooms will be heightened by specialty cocktails, served to elevate your sense of dread and delight.”

In this edition of Before the Curtain Goes Up, Vancouver Presents contributor David C. Jones enters the Beaumont Studios to speak with Kusnierz to learn more.
