No matter what your favourite style of comedy or theatre, you will have a great time.”

Audiences will recognize actors from The X-Files, DC’s Legends of Tomorrowand Comedy Central’s Drunk History onstage at the festival’s three venues, Performance Works, Red Gate Revue and Havana Theatre. We have shows at 7:30 and 9:30 every night with each evening spotlighting six different acts at each venue.

The festival will also feature two unique groups created specially for VIIF 2018: an International Ensemble with some of the best improvisors in the world.

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these artists to try new forms of improv, and for audiences to see these performers work together,” said Amy Shostak, Festival Producer. “These shows will challenge the performers, and the end result as going to be as entertaining as it is surprising.”

Finally, the festival is also presenting a series of world-class workshops with instructors from Minneapolis, Austin, Los Angeles, Toronto Philadelphia and Gothenburg Sweden. Participants will learn a variety of improv skills that are useful on and off stage.
