In a highly competitive architecture firm, a battle of the sexes emerges in this dark comedy about a woman who tries to break the glass ceiling.

Eliza is a brilliant new hire who is eager to work on anything but she keeps getting shut out of projects. Stu drinks on the job and cannot stand Eliza. Weber is a newer hire who has been included on a major project – a mall renovation. Ben is a senior architect who sees everything falling apart around him but is mostly focused on the task at hand – what can they do with the ducts on the mall reno? Eliza vents her frustration to the only other woman in the firm, Janice, who may not be entirely on her side. Everyone is out for themselves and desperate to figure out, “just what do we do with these ducts?”

The play was written in 1992 and is an evergreen tale about office life, bringing up issues of toxic masculinity, workplace harassment, gender biases, and self-preservation.
