Vagrant Players Theatre Society presents the Canadian premiere of Kill All Politicians, a comedy about the politics of friendship. Washington DC twenty-somethings Stu and Ben are bored, stoned, and spending another night inexpertly dissecting senatorial vote-trading when a parking ticket sends Stu over the edge. During the 17th Century, women – thirsty for knowledge and freedom – began to read, discuss and absorb all the learning they could now get their hands on. The familiar “Voice of Reason”, present in almost every Moliere play and always a male, is now, for the first time, female. This is an adaptation by Freyda Thomas, the playwright who gave us “The Miser” and “Splitting Heirs” in earlier seasons.

Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival launches its 29th season with a lineup of four play productions and a range of special events. The Festival opens on the BMO Mainstage with a classical production of Macbeth.
