For the first time, Presentation House Theatre (PHT) is delighted to welcome the public for an unforgettable night of music and merriment. Let the season’s music fill your heart with festive cheer, and join us for our Holiday Singalong!
Prepare to be enchanted as our talented performers lead you through a heartwarming journey of classic and contemporary holiday songs. From cherished carols to toe-tapping jingles, there’s a tune for everyone to enjoy. And not to worry, we even take requests. Savour the musical stylings of Andy Toth and Patrick Ray as they occupy the delicious set of PHT’s Baking Time.
Andy is the Artistic Director of the Robert M. Leddingham School of Theatre, Film, and Music at Arts Umbrella. As a performer, audiences province-wide know Andy from tour-de-force performances as Edna in Hairspray at the Arts Club Theatre and at Theatre Under the Stars, as Brian in Avenue Q for the Arts Club and more. Patrick is the go-to pianist in the Vancouver area for auditions and musical theatre rehearsals. In addition to being an expert-level sight-reader, he considers himself an authority on Christmas music.
“One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is to gather together with others and sing holiday songs. For me, it’s the perfect way to feel the best parts of the season: community, warmth, joy, and togetherness,” shares Andrea Loewen, PHT Managing Director. “That’s why I wanted to start the Holiday Singalong at PHT: to give everyone on the North Shore the opportunity to join in and experience an evening of shared music and even a bit of silliness and fun!”
