The Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) will offer encore screenings of 25 films over three days following the close of this year’s festival.

Included in these selections is Violent, which was awarded both Best Canadian Film and Best BC Films, as well as screenings of  other VIFF award winners including Sitting on the Edge of Marlene (BC Emerging Filmmaker), Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story (VIFF Impact Award) and Miss and the Doctors (Best New Director – International).

The selection of films also includes some of the festival’s most popular titles, including Stuart Murdoch’s indie musical God Help the Girl, the documentary Advanced Style, comedy Still Life and he latest classical music documentary from perennial VIFF favourite Phil Grabsky, In Search of Chopin.

The VIFF repeat screenings will take place October 11 through October 13 at The Cinematheque, SFU’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts and the Vancity Theatre.  Advance tickets are now available at http://viff.org or at the box offices located at VIFF venues.
