Kris Elgstrand writes and directs this quirky Canadian comedy about Carol, played by a deadpan Arabella Bushnell, a woman who attends a music therapy workshop and before the first meeting is even over she bolts to start composing her feelings. The first song she leaves is for her boss/lover, played by a hyper and funny Brad Dryborough. Although he is enraged, he is also inspired and he takes her on a road-trip to pursue his own rock star dreams.
The story is not overly deep or complicated but beautiful art direction and winsome performances make this a charmingly quirky film.
