Some Assembly Theatre Company and RHYTAG (Roundhouse Youth Theatre Action Group) return to the Roundhouse in Yaletown with the premiere of REWIRE.

A new and original production, REWIRE is the story of a group of youth who come together on the night of a lunar eclipse and major video game event to tackle the root causes of stress.

Here are five reasons why we think you should check it out:

1. A multi-disciplinary show with professional mentors

Created by industry professionals in collaboration with a diverse group of Metro Vancouver youth, REWIRE combines live theatre with original music and visuals, the young

2. Tackling important themes

REWIRE highlights integrity, positive action, community support, and inspires positive change in the face of stress, anxiety, and social isolation.

3. For youth and adults alike

While written and performed by youth, REWIRE will speak to the adult members of the audience too.

4. The price

Admission is free, with all donations gladly accepted to support the ongoing work of RHYTAG.

5. Long-standing pedigree

Now in its 18th year, Some Assembly Theatre Company continues to produce original plays that promote awareness, wellness, prevention, and dialogue about issues facing teens. The company was recently honoured with the Deryck Thomson Award for exceptional contribution to community building and well-being.

REWIRE plays the Roundhouse Performance Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver) on May 3 & 4. Visit someassembly.ca for tickets and information.
