And now for something you don’t usually see during the Christmas holiday season. Geekenders returns to the Rio Theatre with an encore production of The Rocky Horror Show (Dec 10 & 11). Here are five reasons we think you should go.

1. Sold-out Its Previous Run

Back by popular demand, the original run of the show in October sold-out. You’ll definitely want to get your tickets now.

2. A Seven Piece Band

Helping to bring Richard O’Brien’s saucy music and lyrics to life are a seven piece band playing live on stage.

3. Critical Praise

Our very own David C Jones on the original run: “The Geekenders Rocky Horror Show is the best production I have seen in Vancouver! Raunchy, real and rocking!”

4. Celebrating the Positive

As with all of the Geekender shows, the company embraces the body positive which fits nicely into a show that celebrates anyone who is unashamed to be who they are and express themselves the way they want.

5. The Anti-Christmas Show

Usually appearing around Halloween each year, The Rocky Horror Show is a great escape from the usual holiday fare.
