5 shows not to miss at JFL NorthWest

JFL NorthWest returns for a second year of mid-winter laughs in February.

“We are looking forward to year two of JFL NorthWest,” says festival director, Heather Wallace. “Our programming team has put together another amazing lineup for Vancouver and comedy fans can look forward to enjoying some serious laughs this February at venues all across the city.”

1. Sarah Silverman

Two-time Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman is one of the most versatile talents in entertainment, with credits including that of actress, creator, writer, executive producer, comedian, and author. Silverman plays the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Saturday, February 25.

2. Trevor Noah

Returning after a wildly successful performance at JFL NorthWest 2016, Trevor Noah is the most successful comedian in Africa. He is the host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning The Daily Show on Comedy Central.

3.  Piff the Magic Dragon

The breakout star from season 10 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent was without question Piff the Magic Dragon. When it comes to Piff, think Larry David in a dragon suit performing jaw-dropping magic tricks.

4. Michelle Wolf

Michelle Wolf is a NY-based writer, actor and standup comedian and one of the fastest rising comedic talents in the city. She currently works as an on-air contributor and writer for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

5. Chris D’Elia

Chris D’Elia is quickly becoming one of the most sought after comedians and actors in the comedy world. He recently starred as Danny on the NBC comedy series Undateable and continues to cement his status on stage as a force in stand-up comedy, performing to sold-out crowds in the U.S. and Canada. D’Elia plays two shows the Vogue Theatre on February 24.
