From Calgary’s The Old Trout Puppet Workshop comes the company’s newest puppet show, Jabberwocky.

Using the Lewis Carroll poem, about the killing of a creature named the Jabberwock, as its impetus, the show takes its form from the toy theatres made popular during the Alice in Wonderland creator’s time in a playfully dark examination of the things that keep us all awake at night.

Vancouver Presents was live at the York Theatre in East Vancouver to find out more.

Jabberwocky plays the York Theatre on Commercial Drive in Vancouver until February 17. Visit http://thecultch.com for tickets and information.
