Jessie Award nominations, Randy Bachman and Neil LaBute are all on tap this week on Vancouver stages

An eclectic mix this week as we celebrate Vancouver’s theatre community, watch a music legend and continue Vancouver’s love affair with Neil Labute.

[dropcap]1[/dropcap]Vancouver’s theatre community comes out to play with the 2015 Jessie Award Nomination Party (May 19). As we all know, it really is just an honour to be nominated. No really, it is. And while we’ve already received the nomination list, we are sworn to secrecy. The winners will be revealed at the award ceremony on June 22.

[dropcap]2[/dropcap]The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra welcomes Canadian music legend Randy Bachman to the stage, performing all his greatest hits live with the orchestra. Love him or not, the Orpheum will definitely be Taking Care of Business as these two powerhouses join forces in Symphonic Overdrive (May 20).
