Global Soundscapes Festival (June 26-27)

The Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra presents its annual Global Soundscapes Festival. This year the festival showcases the instruments and traditions of the Middle East featuring guest soloists from Azerbaijan, Iran, and Montreal. More at vi-co.org.

Reborning (June 20-29)

Reality Curve Theatre presents Zayd Dohrn’s stage thriller, Reborning. In this dark comedy, art and life become disturbingly interchangeable when a sculptor of realistic baby dolls meets a woman desperate to recreate her past. More at realitycurve.com.

Kill All Politicians (June 20-23)

We certainly don’t advocate such a drastic measure as Vagrant Players Theatre Society presents Kill All Politicians. In Thomas Yungerberg’s darkly funny play, a couple of disgruntled roommates plan a radical solution for the corruption running rampant in Washington. More on Facebook.
