Satellites

Solo Collective Theatre opens its new season with the world premiere of Vancouver playwright Aaron Bushkowsky’s Satellites (Nov 16-26). This dark comedy looks at people trying to connect in a changing city landscape where real estate “madness” has left them nearly soulless. Sound familiar?

Coming Up for Air

Vancouver theatre veteran Bernard Cuffling stars in a one-man stage adaptation of George Orwell’s pre-Word War II novel Coming Up For Air (Nov 16-25). Cuffling portrays George Bowling who returns to his childhood village, in the hopes of recapturing the innocence of his youth. George soon discovers things have changed beyond recognition from the effects of modern life, and intensified by the threat of the looming war.
