[dropcap]1[/dropcap]Eric Peterson plays Percy Schmeiser in Annabel Soutar’s SEEDS (Jan 19-21 in West Vancouver / Jan 23 in Maple Ridge & Jan 28 & 29 in Surrey), the of the Saskatchewan farmer who fought back against Monstanto all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada. Based on court transcripts and interviews, SEEDS is a David and Goliath story through the labyrinth of legal conflicts around patent rights, and property clashes between farmers and the biotech industry.
