Now in its fifth year, the Ensemble Theatre Festival (until Aug 18) continues at Vancouver’s Jericho Arts Centre. Offering three plays in repertory, your best bet this year is A Prayer for Owen Meany. An oddly touching and entertaining stage adaptation of John Irving’s novel, this production benefits from terrific performances from Chris Lam and Anthony Santiago.
