Christine Pilgrim earned a living in comedy when she lived in England. She still gets repeat cheques for her appearances on The Benny Hill Show! After relocating to the Okanagan in the 1990s, she changed course and focused on Canadian history. She has written many one-woman, history-based shows that she still performs in B.C. museums, clubs, schools and universities. One was aired on Global TV. Her latest was a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, to celebrate her platinum jubilee. She also continues to tell her children's stories to young students in Vancouver. Christine reviewed concerts and plays for Okanagan and Cariboo newspapers and wrote cover stories for North of 50 and Okanagan Woman magazines before she moved to Vancouver and reviewed shows for Vancouver Presents.
