Before The Curtain Goes Up: The Prom

The Prom plays in repertory with Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical at Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl from July 6 to August 26.

The second of two musical comedies on stage at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park this summer, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) presents The Prom, the story of four down-on-their-luck Broadway actors desperate to improve their public image, who rally behind Emma, a teenager whose prom has just been cancelled because she planned to attend with her girlfriend. But their scheming quickly goes sideways, and they ultimately come to learn what everyone is searching for, a place to belong.

In this edition of Before The Curtain Goes Up, Vancouver Presents contributor David C Jones speaks with actors Greg Armstrong-Morris, who plays Barry Glickman, and Caitriona Murphy, who plays Dee Dee Allen, to learn more.
