Breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes, Glitter Crash is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking burlesque show that celebrates diversity, empowerment, and the beauty of inclusion. Taking place at the Cultch Historic Theatre, this extraordinary event, the first of its kind in Canada, celebrates Disability Pride Month with a showcase of disabled performers in a spectacular display of talent, creativity, and resilience.
With a lineup of performers who defy expectations and redefine what it means to be a burlesque artist, Glitter Crash promises an evening of mesmerizing entertainment that transcends boundaries and inspires audiences to embrace diversity and celebrate individuality.
“We are incredibly proud to present Glitter Crash, a burlesque show that celebrates the diversity and talent of disabled performers,” said All The Way Mae (they/them), Producer and Founder of Twisted Tassels Productions. “Through this event, we hope to shatter stereotypes, challenge preconceptions, and inspire audiences to embrace inclusivity in all its forms.”
Glitter Crash represents a powerful step forward in the ongoing pursuit of equality and representation within the performing arts. By amplifying the voices and talents of disabled performers, Glitter Crash aims to spark meaningful conversations, foster greater understanding, and pave the way for a more inclusive and accessible future for all.
